This
is the first step one takes to get their real estate career
started.
The course is a 60 hour program. The student must also
pass a State Exam.
The
State Exam is given by the Mississippi Real Estate Commission.
The student needs to obtain a 75% on the State
Exam.
This course covers the basic principles and practices of real
estate and Mississippi license law. The textbooks used
in the On-Class Course is Modern Real Estate Practice by
Galaty, Allaway, Kyle and Mississippi Real Estate Basics
by Cynthia Joachim and Judy Glenn. These two textbooks
are not included but do mirror the course and the school recommends
student purchase the textbooks for help in preparing for a
difficult state exam.
